Pamela Larsen“I would say Paul’s evangelical in both definitions of the word; in terms of his religion and in terms of his expressiveness about what he believes, both of those things. He’s an evangelist, a garden evangelist.” – Pamela Larsen, Washington
Kimberly K.King“Our visit to Mr. Gautschi’s lovely farm was an inspiration to us, as was Mr. Gautschi himself. To see – and taste! – the fruits of Mr. Gautschi’s farming methods is to understand how dynamic and sustainable his process is for farming all over the world.” – Kimberly K. King, Washington
Ken Grantham“We’re amateur gardeners. We’re going to implement this stuff!” – Ken Grantham, Washington
Marcia Breece"My brother and I grazed Paul’s beautiful garden like happy rabbits, enjoying carrots from the earth and cucumbers from the vine. Our farm tour caused a rush of vivid childhood memories. My brother and I spent many summers on our Grandparents farm. I remember biting into warm, dew covered tomatoes from the vine. The juice dripped from my chin, and stained my PJs. As I stood in Paul’s chicken coop, I surprised us both when I was moved to taste a raw potato, as I remembered a story our grandmother often told. When I was about 2, as she planted, I followed in the dirt, took a bite of each potato start, replaced it in the soil and covered it up again. I haven’t tasted that flavor since 1950! Paul’s garden was a trip down memory lane, an education in green gardening and a culinary delight. I’ve made plans for wood chip delivery and a bigger garden next summer." – Marcia Breece, Washington
Mitch Breece“He has turned me into a believer! As he [Paul] says, “Everything here is just full of water!” It’s unbelievable because this is not an area that gets much water.” – Mitch Breece, China
Tony Hooper“Meeting Paul was truly inspiring, not just because of what God has done with his gardens, but also because of what God has done with him and his willingness to impart it to all those he meets.” – Tony Hooper, Pennsylvania
Jenn Hooper“It is amazing to look around Paul’s gardens and see all the abundance from the Lord. Those were the sweetest strawberries I have ever tasted. I can’t look at fruits and vegetables in the grocery store the same way since!” – Jenn Hooper, Pennsylvania
Gail Hart“Thanks to Paul and the time he took to show me how he plants in the mulch, I look out my window and see the rows of garlic, onions, peas, lettuce, turnips and kale in my garden now.  If I had tilled the soil and planted the usual 'American' way, I would be looking at a mud pit without a single thing growing in the sodden clay soil. Everyone gardens where I live, and no one else has anything green in their gardens but me. This was a hard winter and a cool spring, and it’s still far too wet and cold to attempt to till or to plant in the earth...unless of course, it has a Covering! It’s true what Paul says, "It is all about the Covering!” – Gail Hart, Oregon
Carla Hartley"My visit to Carol and Paul’s home for a special dinner a few months ago was my first chance to see and TASTE this organic garden I had heard Carol talk about from time to time. I felt like I left a completely different person, for many reasons. Once you have seen and sampled that garden you can never imagine plain old dirt gardening again. The tour and instructions from Paul are different than what you imagine it will be. This man is connected to his garden in a way that defies explanation. His awe for what God has created in nature, and what we can do if we humble ourselves and learn from that, comes across as the most genuine respect for the creator that I have ever witnessed." – Carla Hartley, California & Oklahoma
